a forest dream come true
magical escape infinity pool tea plantation
The hotel reminded me of a magical escape. the views from the infinity pool stretched across the treetops, captivating. the staff paid attention to every detail. our guided morning walk through the tea plantation was special. It was educational, charming and beautiful.
the location felt a bit remote , requiring a drive to access nearby attractions.

faulty safe inconsistent turndown
I encountered a couple of issues. The in-room safe did not function properly. I had to call maintenance twice to get it working. The promised daily turndown service occurred only once . I expect consistency at this price point.

Tranquil getaway
restful place infinity pool guided walk resident naturalist
Four nights started our trip in sri lanka very well. The location provides a peaceful, immersive environment. The infinity pool offers 360-degree views over the mountains. A guided walk around the grounds is available with the resident naturalist, gunee.
THE restaurant's food quality does not match the resort. The music volume made conversation difficult.

The restaurant offers a wide variety of options, including international cuisine and traditional Sri Lankan dishes, catering to diverse tastes. It is possible to book a cooking class with local chefs. The service is really good, with helpful and cute staff at the restaurant.

The rooms are spacious and super clean, with a private patio with a fine view of the surrounding landscape. Colonial bungalows are available and provide an upgrade to a superior accommodation experience. Housekeeping cleans rooms perfectly every day and makes decorative arrangements on the bed.

The hotel spans 100 acres and is meticulously maintained by a diligent team, that constantly cleans and trims it. The hotel is integrated into lush jungle and tea plantations. The surrounding area is full of nature, which includes birds, monkeys and tropical trees.

subpar food food quality
the landscape around had some real beauty. it made for nice walks.
i really dont like when a restaurant cant get it right. the food quality was subpar, not matching the rest of the hotel.
